Clay Modeling Film

Clay Modeling Film developed by TOOLS INTERNATIONAL Corp. is used in automotive design in ex- and interior mainly for highlight verification and qualification studies on clay models. The flexible film can be easily applied to three-dimensionally curved surfaces.

Clay Modeling Film is available already painted in different colors or also in transparent for self-painting.

After soaking the film in water and loosening the paper on the back, the film can be applied to the clay surface.
If the clay surface is sprayed with water beforehand, the position can be easily and conveniently adjusted. Air bubbles and moisture can be gently squeezed out from under the film with a scaper. Gently wipe off water drops with a paper towel to avoid water spots.

The transparent Clay Modeling Film is varnished before use. The varnish acts on the film and makes it more pliable.

Notice:
Since the Clay Modeling Film has a barely visible texture, it is recommended to lay several sheets parallel in the same direction. Otherwise, light reflections will be shown differently.
